A Smart System adds value to your home.
- Safety
- Convenience
- Energy Savings
Cool down the house, warm up the pool, preheat the oven, water the lawn, turn on the lights, see who’s at the door. And so much more…
You can view, schedule, and control your home’s systems from anywhere, with a smart phone or mobile device.
WHAT MAKES A HOME A “SMART” HOME?
There are a few basic parts to every smart home:
Smart devices: The “hardware” part. They can perform tasks, like controlling lights, running a lawn sprinkler system, locking a door, changing the room’s temperature, opening a window shade, and much, much more.
Smart devices can also report that something’s happening, like a camera that shows who’s at the door, a water sensor that tells you there’s a leak in the laundry room, an oven that tells that it’s preheated to a temperature you set, and much much more.
Control system: The “software” part. This talks with your smart devices and tells them what you want . You can set up schedules, like “lights on at dusk every night”,
“lower shades and cooling during the day if no one’s home”, “dim the lights in the Media room when the movie starts”, “Don’t run the sprinklers if it’s going to rain”.
Smart devices report back to the control system, either when they’ve done what they were told, or when something is happening.
You can control and monitor all your systems from a touchscreen or handheld remote. When you’re away from home, use your tablet or smartphone.
